Dear birders,

This morning I was happy to hear that the Grasshopper Sparrows and Chimney
Swifts have returned here, and Black-Throated Green Warbler also was heard.
Blue-Headed Vireo has been back for 10 days, and Green Heron, House Wren,
and Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher have been back for a week here.  I also enjoyed
seeing/hearing Wild Turkey, 4 different Barred Owls, a Raven, a small flock
of Ruby-Crowned Kinglets, Bluebirds, Brown Thrashers, and Meadowlarks.  I
found that the local Red Fox couple are the proud parents of a pair of kits,
and watched them play near their den.

Barn Swallow, White-Eyed Vireo, Kingbird, Yellow Warbler, and Yellowthroat
have not yet put in their appearance in their usual haunts.

Enjoy the spring,

Mary Ann Good

Lincoln, near Purcellville
