We ventured out to Harrison Rd near The Plains today looking for the above
after getting skunked on both Sunday. The Eurasian Wigeon was on the pond
on Harrison Road along with 6 American Wigeons, 2 Bufflehead, 1 Ruddy Duck,
lots of Mallards and Canada Geese.
We had to go to the pond on Belvoir Road where the Greater White Fronted
Goose was, feeding with the Canada's near the road. At least no scope was
needed for him.
Also, had 1 adult Bald Eagle on Harrison road (2 on Sunday), Bluebirds and
Meadowlarks were common.
