[va-bird] GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE in Roanoke

There was a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE at Lakeview Pond on Williamson
Road today in the company of approximately 50 CANADA GEESE. The bird was
located
this morning by Clark and Stephanie Hill and reported to me. It was still
present when I checked on it this afternoon. Andy Biggs had reported a possible
GWFG at Walrond Park a few weeks ago and this may well be the same bird,
Walrond
Park being a short distance away. The female BLUE-WINGED TEAL that has been
at Lakeview all winter remains, along with 3 male NORTHERN SHOVELERS and a
male WOOD DUCK.
