[va-bird] Forster's Terns

Hello Birders..
We were up at Cumberland Marsh Reserve this afternoon and saw a pair of white
birds soaring around over the marshes. I managed to get a few very
long-distance shots of them. Imagine our surprise when we looked at the images
and found what we had witnessed were Forster's Terns.. What on earth would they
be doing 100 miles inland?
We'll run up there again in the morning to see if they are still hanging
around. Are they fairly rare for thse parts, or have they just stopped off for
a bit of
R&R before heading farther south?

Beautiful birds..Another one for the book for us :)
We also saw an imm. Bald Eagle, a ton of Black Vultures and an Am. Kestrel
hunting the soybean fields..
