This morning on the Blue Ridge Parkway I heard one White-eyed Vireo, several
Red-eyed, one Yellow-throated and saw two Blue-headed Vireos. I've been
searching lower elevations locations for Warbling Vireo the past few days to no
avail. However, Kurt Gaskill making a guest appearance in Augusta County,
found one west of Staunton yesterday afternoon. So, all our resident vireos
are here.
Also, Hooded and Worm-eating Warblers, redstarts, Ovenbirds, parulas were
present on the BRP this morning in moderate numbers.
Lousy weather out here right now.
