Hi All
My wife and I were at First Landing SP (where the stork had been seen
previously) for 4 hours yesterday . There was no sign of the stork while we
were there. We did how ever get a look of an Anhinga flying over, it showed no
sign of landing as it went across the road. we were standing on the board walk
across the marsh from where the stork had been seen .
We saw lots of Hermit thrushes and brow headed nuthatches not used to seeing
that many in a short time. we also saw the other birds that had been posted,
with the exception of the Great Horned owl
