Howdy all,
We are about to finish up the spring banding here at First Landing State
Park. We are banding for the last day tomorrow (15th) we hope!
We got rained out on the 9th and then missed two days this past weekend to be
at a friends wedding up in PA. We got back Sunday night and hope to band
Monday but once again got rained out on the 12th. We were able to resume
banding
on the 13th but caught exactly what we have been catching. Totals below. Then
we definitely got rained out today! Should be an interesting day tomorrow! I am
willing to bet, most of our nets will be standing over water.
Anyway, after we are done banding tomorrow (around noon) we are going to take
down the station for the season. But don't cry. It was a good season for us
here, and the Kiptopeke fall season is just around the corner! We will start
banding there on the 15 August.
