VA Birders,
My yard isn't hopping with as many birds as it was a few weeks ago.
Yesterday I had a Brown Creeper, a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and a
Ruby-crowned Kinglet along with lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers.
Today a good number Yellow-rumps are active along with a flock of Chipping
Sparrows. A male Black-throated Green Warbler stopped by for a quick visit.
A Blue-headed Vireo investigated the Dogwood tree, and 5 Wild 'Turkeys came
into the front yard to peck at fallen apples.
