Philip is too polite to seek a resounding farewell, but at the risk of
embarassing him further, I'd like to inform the group that Philip is moving to
Tuscon this weekend and getting married. He has worked with me and Jason
Waanders
in the Division of Parks and Wildlife of the Solicitor's Office at the
Department of the Interior for less than a year, but he has become one of most
dependable birding comrades, participant in CBCs, and a thoughtful contributor
to
this listserve. (Of course I agree with him and Bart, although I am shocked,
just shocked at Bart's display of cultural illiteracy by not recognizing the
number from the Pirates of Penzance. Too bad Richard didn't use a Greatful
Dead
tune--Bart would have been all over that . . . .)
His fiancee Holly's gain is our loss . . . except that I will now have an
added excuse to bird in southern Arizona!

P.S. Thanks for a great post on the Laurel Hill discussion forum, Bart!
