[va-bird] Far Southside VA: Tundra Swans, Merlin, B-H Nuthatch, more

On Saturday, January 28, the Margaret Watson Bird Club of Farmville visited the 
environs of Kerr Dam, including Dick Cross WMA.  Highlights were four Tundra 
Swans
at Dick Cross, eleven immature Bald Eagles visible at the park below Kerr Dam, 
and Brown-headed Nuthatch, Red-headed Woodpecker, and Merlin at Palmer Point.  
At least a dozen Common Loons were visible on the lake, along with two Horned 
Grebes and over 500 Ring-billed Gulls.
