Dear Birders, I have received this E-mail from YuLee Larner, Staunton. She
is temporarily off the bird list, and has asked me to forward this out on the
list-serv.
"When I was in Monterey over the weekend, there were evening grosbeaks in
'uncountable numbers' - at feeders and in the woods on the edge of town.
Lucinda Beverage said they had been there for about a week. Also, many purple
finches."
