VA Birders,
Several people have reported Eurasian Collared-Doves recently and I
haven't solictied documentation for VARCOM on any of them. Guess my
mind's been elsewhere. Anyway, collared-doves are reviewable by VARCOM
anywhere except Northampton County so if those of you who've seen them
recently (myself included as I saw one in Isle of Wight last weekend)
could send me a write up, I'd really appreciate it. You can find
everything you want to know about VARCOM on the fantastic website that
our fearless leader, Ned Brinkley, created at www.virginiabirds.org,
including the review list and tips on how to submit sightings to the
committee for review. Thanks to all for your support and happy
birding! Spring is near!
