Regarding the posting issues, it might be worth considering Yahoo's groups
capabilities. At least the price is right - free - and Yahoo has a robust
infrastructure. Take a look at groups.yahoo.com for more info. I am a member of

Yahoo group listservs and generally they seem to work well.
Otherwise I would just note that listserv dynamics are frustrating in that no
one seems to notice when things are working well, but folks become quite
vocal whenever there are problems. So I feel gratitude toward list
owners/moderators/administrators for putting up with the frustrations. Cheers,
