VA Birders,
The 9 NVBC birders on our walk at Fort C. F. Smith Park, Arlington Co.,
today (Wednesday, March 30) found the first Eastern Phoebes and Chipping
Sparrows I have seen at the park this year--let's hope spring is here to stay!
Other highlights were: 5 species of raptors, including a Bald Eagle; 5 species
of
woodpeckers, including a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker; and 2 Fox Sparrows.
Good birding,
Val Kitchens
Arlington, VA
