[va-bird] Eagles & Shorebirds at Staunton River SP; Halifax Co

Greetings to all:

Made a trip to Staunton River SP this morning to check for shorebirds. Just as
I got out of the car, I heard Bald Eagles fussing and then saw three immature
Bald Eagles chasing one another. As I made my way to the point where the Dan
and Staunton River flows together and enter Kerr Lake an adult Bald Eagle flew
off of it perch and out over the Dan River.

The lack of rain in the area has large mud flats exposed in the Staunton River.
Shorebirds have arrived in force with some too far out to ID. However, I was
able to find the following:

Spotted Sandpiper - 5
