Today's edition of the Dyke Marsh walk was attended by 24 people. Four warbler
species (all expected for this time of year) were observed. The highlight was
perhaps a slightly early Spotted Sandpiper in alternate plumage that foraged
right along the shoreline. Up to 6 Ospreys engaged in aerial courtship
displays and a DC Cormorants with nuptial plumes appeared to be the real crowd
