Wed. afternoon at Dyke Marsh an osprey flew into a tree about 100 yds. from me
and had supper. The large fish did not stop flapping for over 10 minutes as
the osprey began feeding from the head. An hour later a motor boat sacred the
bird away; someone has parked a sailboat on one of the islands as well.
Others seen: horned grebes, ruddies, coots, mergansers, geese, sharp-shinned
hawk, black ducks and 2 beavers.
