Six people participated in the weekly Dyke Marsh bird walk. Birding was a
little slow, but it was a beautiful morning and there were a few goodies. Just
before we started a green heron flew over. We found a very neat-plumaged
female/immature black-and-white warbler that could be an early migrant. Ditto
for a very elusive yellow warbler A marsh wren was singing next to an
easily-visible nest near the trail past the dogleg.
