Hi everyone;
What a gorgeous morning it was today! I didn't arrive
at the Dismal Swamp (Jericho Ditch) until mid-morning
but there was quite a bit of activity anyway. Has
anyone on the listserv mentioned the arrival of Wood
Thrushes yet? In case not, I was thrilled to listen to
at least two singing along Jericho Ditch Road.

Other birds "of note," as they say, were
  Warblers: B & W
            Prairie
            C. Yellowthroat
            Ovenbird
            La Waterthrush
            Palm
            Yellow-rumped

   Others;  White-eyed Vireo
            Gray Catbird
            Ruby-crowned Kinglet
            Hermit Thrush
            Chimney Swifts
            Brown Creeper
            Gnatcatchers

And lots of Zebra Swallowtails, Pearl Crescents,
Azures, American Painted Lady, Black & Tiger
Swallowtails, Questions Mark, Comma, and other
butterflies. Beautiful day!
