Saturday morning along Jericho Ditch in the Dismal Swamp was a blast. The
warblers were cooperative and the weather nearly perfect.
Melissa Paine and I arrived at 6:45 and began the day trying to track down
a Swainson's singing along the entrance road. No luck there, but we would
not be disappointed. Below is a list that, to the best of my knowledge,
combines what we saw with what was seen by the group from the Birds and
Blossoms festival in Norfolk (led by David Hughes and others). We met up
with them as we were headed out.
