I birded around the War Memorial in the District this morning. It was
quieter than I expected, but there some migrants around. Warblers
included yellow-rumped, hooded, Nashville, yellow, black-and-white and
northern waterthrush. Other birds included great-crested flycatcher,
both orioles, eastern kingbird, catbird, brown thrasher, wood thrush,
eastern towhee, and rough-winged swallow.
