The cicadas did not hatch out this year in our area so that doesn't explain
the increased activity of cuckoos here. Regarding the flycatcher. I had a
very obnoxious one that sang continuously through the month of May. It is
quieter now-only occasional "wheeps"! So I'm assuming it mated but I
haven't seen a nest or young. The egg dates for this bird are early-mid May
for this area. I don't know the incubation period for the eggs though.
