I stopped briefly by Craney Island this morning. Of the birds reported
yesterday, I saw only the A. Avocets. But, I was not able to check all the
areas of Craney. There was a female Marsh Hawk (Northern Harrier) flying
over the north end of the north impoundment. 2 Savannah Sparrows were in
the area too. Many ducks were present on the south impoundment's west pool.
I believe the numbers of Royal and Caspian Terns are decreasing.
