Dear Virginia Birders.
Please pass this on to any teens you know who
might be interested.

Since 1983 I have been leading not-for-profit
summer trips for teens who are interested in
studying tropical natural history and ecology and
doing nature photography.  This year's trip is to
Costa Rica from June 25 to July 16.  It is open
to any teens presently in grades 8-12 if they
have an interest in nature.  The deadline is
fast-approaching (March 28) and there is still
more than enough room for additional people.

We expect to see amazing birds like scarlet
macaws, sunbitterns, toucans, jacamars, quetzals,
and hummingbirds galore, as well as red-eyed tree
frogs, poison dart frogs, crocodiles, iguanas,
three or four kinds of monkeys, sloths, coati
mundis, peccaries, and interesting geology and
botany.  It is not just a birding trip; we look
at all kinds of nature.

Here is a link where you can read about the trip
and see wildlife photos from previous trips.

Please contact me as soon as possible if
interested.

We also sponsor a Costa Rican teen on this trip
at no cost to him.

Thanks
All the best
Fred Atwood
