Congratulations to Linda Fields and Alan Schreck who received the Virginia
Society of Ornithology James Eike Service Award this past Saturday at the
Warm Springs Board Meeting. The award for outstanding service to the
organization is normally presented at the VSO Annual Meeting but Linda and
Alan were busy representing the VSO as part of the Roving Ravens team in the
World Series of Birding. In addition to spear heading the Roving Ravens,
Linda and Alan are the editors for the VSO Newsletter, Virginia Birds
magazine, and are webmasters for the VSO website.
