[va-bird] Common Nighthawks, Culpeper 27 June 2004

Hola,
While returning from the Eastern Shore with my wife, we heard two or three 
Common Nighthawks while driving through Culpeper tonight at about nine PM.  
I've 
had them there every summer since 1997, and I believe they were confirmed 
breeding during the Madison/Greene/Culpeper County foray some years back (I 
forget the year).  

Anyone interested in hearing and maybe seeing them, I've always had my best 
luck on the south side of the hill that Main Street goes over, and on the east 
side of Main Street.  Smack in the middle of the town.  There's a fair amount 
of old brick buildings throughout the town, but this area has always seemed 
most productive for me.
