VA Bird,
At 10:30 this morning, myself and several other birders observed two
Common Moorhens feeding in the little gut area of Dyke Marsh as reported
by Kurt Gaskill yesterday. To reach the area where the birds were, take
the trail to the dogleg and continue across the wooden footbridge. Take
the first trail to the right after the footbridge. The birds were
feeding in the algae and along the edge of the cattails that can be seen
from the end of this trail.
Sue.
