Tom Armour, Bill Williams and I enjoyed the first warm-ish air in a while
and the birds responded with the first day of decent diversity...6 species.
Unlike the flights of mostly Turkey Vultures so far this month, today,
February
27th, there were 2 Ospreys, a Northern Harrier, 2 Sharp-shinned Hawks, a
Red-shouldered Hawk and 2 Red-tailed Hawks crossing the river, in addition to
11
Turkey Vultures.
There was also the first Tree Swallow at the site this season.
