The hawkwatch, on the James River, in James City County, sponsored by Coastal VA Wildlife Observatory, saw its first Osprey on February 22. The species list also includes both vultures and Red-tailed and Red-shouldered hawks. There are many Bald Eagles around, but none recorded as migrants yet. The season total is just under 100.
