[va-bird] Chinquapin Park, Alexandria 4/29

As I stepped out the door this morning, I was treated to a Rose-breasted
Grosbeak's "squeaky sneaker" call (didn't see the bird, as it remained a
sneaky squeaker).

Taking this as a good omen, I opted for a quick pass through Chinquapin Park
on the way to work. Highlights:

Great Crested Flycatcher - 1
Red-eyed Vireo - 2
Blue Jay - 64 (high up and heading north; some scattered singles, but most
frequently in flocks of 5-20 individuals)
House Wren - 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 4
Gray Catbird - 3
Magnolia Warbler - 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 5
Black-and-white Warbler - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 1
White-throated Sparrow - 1 (clearing out; since December, it's been about
10-30 birds)
Baltimore Oriole - 1

Cheers,
