Best birds seen here on Monday and Tuesday (Aug. 26 and 27) were seven
terns... great views of the Forsters, Little, Common, Caspian, Royal,
Sandwich and BLACK! (2) All seen resting on the flats and feeding alongside
the beach road. Also counted 44 Oyster Catchers on the oyster beds by the
causeway leading into Chincoteague. A total of 58 species seen during our
