My apologies for posting this note to the entire listserve. After I posted
recently on a boat I hird to help me bird the mud flats in Assateague Channel
and Tom's Cove near Chincoteague Island, VA, several people contacted me
privately asking for the contact information for the owner of the boat. I
couldn't provide this information earlier, but I have it now. My problem is
that I've recently switched DSL vendors and at the moment I'm in stuck in
"Verizon DSL Hell,"trying to configue a VPN networking connection, and for
reason which I do not understand I don't think my old mail stop is working any
longer. Iit may take me awhile to get it back. The way things are going, I'm
going grow old before I get this Verizon problem figured out.
So here is the contact information on the boatman. Contact Mark at
757-336-5956. If there is a problem with this number, Mark can be reached at
through the Assateague Town Marina on Eastside Street in Chincoteague,
Virginia. I don't have the phone number for the marina.
In any event, I really enjoyed my tour of the mud flats in the Assateague
Channel and Tom's Cove. And, I can recommend Mark to anyone thinking about
hiring a boat to do some birding in and around Chicoteague.
