The wind this morning decided me against climbing the tower to watch for hawks,
so I walked through the woods, and found, to my delight, 2 bright male Cerulean
Warblers, singing, as well as 5 Hooded, 2 Black&White, 1Worm-eating, 3
Redstarts, 2 Black-thr. Green, 1 La. Waterthrush and a good dozen or more
Yellow-rumpeds.
At 8 a.m. I had a Pine Siskin with the Goldfinches and Purple Finches at the
feeder.
Blue Jays are moving through, just like the Hawks, following the ridgeline.
