[va-bird] Cape May warbler, Leesylvania SP

I had only an hour to bird this morning, so I stopped at Leesylvania State Park
between 7:15 and 8:15 and concentrated on the hill below the ruins and the
picnic area. The hill was swarming with birds, the vast majority yellow-rumps.
However, there were a few gems mixed in, including a gorgeous Cape May,
magnolia, blackpoll, black and white, palm, yellow-throated, yellow, parula,
and yellowthroat, yellow-throated vireo, both orioles, blue grosbeak, indigo
bunting, scarlet tanager, and great-crested flycatcher. Both martin houses at
the visitor's center are occupied. There was also a laughing gull on the river.
While I was birding a plane was spraying the Cherry Hill peninsula (Cockpit Pt.
Rd.). I am assuming it was for gypsy moths, but I haven't heard that was a
problem this year.
