Total observation time: 8.25 hours
Official Counter: Gene Sattler
Observers: Robert Ferrell
Weather:
Partly to mostly cloudy from mid-morning on, but with sunshine prevailing,
although somewhat weak at times with haze, so thermal activity did not
appear strong. 72-81F, SE/SSW 3-8 mph.
Observations:
Another quiet day with a little activity throughout, but with the
Broadwings tapering off by 13:00 EST. A little variety for us with both a
Merlin and a Peregrine. Birds were relatively low, and with the nice cloud
cover a less strenous day for the eyes.
Barn Swallows (1), Monarchs (5), Green Darners (44), Saddlebags (14).
