Started out clear and went to mostly cloudy in mid afternoon before
returning to clear. 72-80F, ESE/S 2-5 mph, except up to 8-12 mph briefly
in late afternoon.
Observations:
One kettle of 20 BW at 11:45 EST, but no BW the last three hours. The
Peregrine was a distant bird to the south.
DC Cormorant (1), RT Hummingbird (1), Blue Jays (4), Monarch (29), Non
Monarch Butterflies (15), Green Darners (12), Saddlebags (5).

Candler Mountain is located on the southeast edge of Lynchburg, VA, in
Virginia's Inner Piedmont. It is on a minor ridge that parallels the Blue
Ridge Parkway, 16 miles to the NW. The bare knob offers a 360 degree view
