Observation start time: 08:50:00 EST
Observation end time: 17:20:00 EST
Total observation time: 8.5 hours

Site Coordinator: Gene Sattler

Observers: Gene Sattler, Nicky Fleshman

Weather:
Mostly cloudy with weak sun for the first few hours gave way to overcast as
Isidore's cloud shield advanced. Wind was NE 3-10 mph, and the high was
72 degrees F.

Observations:
The third day of NE winds did their magic again, and again it was the mid
afternoon that produced. After about 300 BW in the morning it was
relatively quiet until 1250 BW were spotted off the north side of the
ridge in four kettles at 14:30 EST. Despite the overcast, birds were up
at a 3 by then. A good SS day for us.

Swallows (11), Blue Jays (11), Monarchs (193), Dragonflies (18).

Predictions:
The last week of September usually produces good BW numbers for us, and
with a late BW push coming out of New England the last few days, things
look promising after Isidore clears out, if some of the birds will come
our way.
