10-20 mph. There was usually some cloud cover to help out, especially
later in the afternoon.
Observations:
A dribble all day until BW kettles of 26, 45, 7, and 7 from 16:50-17:40.
Always a good sign for the next flight day, which may not be until
Saturday.

Candler Mountain is located on the southeast edge of Lynchburg, VA, in
Virginia's Inner Piedmont. It is on a minor ridge that parallels the Blue
Ridge Parkway, 16 miles to the NW. The bare knob offers a 360 degree view
