Weather:
A brief shower at 09:30 EST, and overcast and hazy all day, a repeat of
yesterday, with winds SSE 0-5 mph and a high of 77 F.

Observations:
Little lift and few hawks.  Maybe there were more on the ridges.

Four RH Woodpeckers traveling together, one RT Hummingbird, 16 Monarchs,
and 36 Dragonflies.

Candler Mountain is located on the southeast edge of Lynchburg, VA, in
Virginia\'s Inner Piedmont.  It is on a minor ridge that parallels the Blue
Ridge Parkway, 16 miles to the NW.  The bare knob offers a 360 degree view
