I thought I was going to have a Common Nighthawk flight today since I
saw 8 birds in the first 30 minutes(1700-1730) of the watch at Van Dyke
Park, but I didn't see anymore until 1930 when 6 flew high overhead to the
east. Then I had another one headed south for a total of 15.
At the nocturnal feeding area at Tyson's Corner(Fairfax Square) there
were at least 10 gliding very high over the lights.
