With all the bird activity going on at the CBBT many folks have been =
visiting the Islands over the past month or so. I have been out four times =
in the past three weeks myself. On three of these trips I have seen people =
go over the guard rail to the edge of the wall. I was able to remind two =
of these groups about the rules and the third left before I was able to =
get to them.=20
Please folks read the rules on the permission letter you received and obey =
them so that we may continue to keep this privilege. Do not go over the =
guard rail , only make right turns and do not walk across the road way =
anywhere.
I have also found it helpful and well appreciated by the CBBT staff to do =
what Ned Brinkly suggested last year. Make copies of your permission =
letter and on the back of them copy your car registration and drivers =
licence. This way you go in with the real copies in hand but give them the =
copy and let them know you have done the work for them of copying the =
info. They seem to like this and it good PR for birders.=20
