Hello all
Just got back from the Eastern Shore a much needed sanity fix . Pat & I ended
up with a total of 89 species of birds in the 2 days . We started out on the
CBBT first thing Saturday morning . The first birds we saw were the thousands
upon thousands of Scoter's . All four Islands had large rafts of them . On
Island 4 today I counted a total of 30 + White - winged Scoters . This is a
must see if you have not been . Anyway here are the highlights of our trip
which ended today at Fort Story .
Red -- throated Loon -- 1 on Island 4 Sat. & 4 at Fort Story Sun.
Red -- necked Grebe -- 1 yesterday just before getting to Island 1 & 2 at Fort
