Black-capped Petrel: 4-5
Bridled Tern: 99 (still many around toward evening, in the Bay)
Pomarine Jaeger: 2
Parasitic Jaeger: 3
Leach's Storm-Petrel: 9+
Band-rumped Storm-Petrel: 17+
Oceanodroma sp.? 45+
Wilson's Storm-Petrel: many, not yet tallied
phalarope sp.: 4
Sooty Tern: 1 very probable at 0745 on Island 1
Cory's Shearwater: 12
White-tailed Tropicbird: 1 ad. 1045 to 1205, then again 1745+ in the evening

Herald Petrel: 1 light-morph bird brought by Patteson from Kerr Lake and
released in the afternoon at CBBT #3
All birds seen extremely well by many, many observers.
The spectacle of hundreds of butterflies and shorebirds streaming across the
Bay all day was unforgettable! Highlights to follow in a longer post when
power is fully restored.
