[va-bird] Bullock's Oriole Video

This afternoon I managed to capture a four-minute digital video of the
Bullock's Oriole at the Kenny home in Vienna, VA. I have edited it down
to the best 1-3/4 minutes (in Windows Media .avi format) and will be
glad to send it to anyone on the list who is interested.

Two cautions:
1. The file size is about 400K and can take a while to download if you
are not on a high-speed connection for your e-mail.
2. I shot the video using digital zoom at 30-40X. This gives good,
large views of the bird, but unfortunately compromises the image quality
a bit. It's pretty good, but don't expect Richard Attenborough type
video.

Contact me at the e-mail address below if you would like a copy of this
video. Although I do have a high speed Internet connection, I will
probably batch any requests I receive at the end of the day for the next
few days, just to save myself a bit of upload time.

If the bird stays around, I hope to return for some still photos later
in the week (maybe digi-scoped), and I will post a link to them if I get
anything useful. (The still frames from the video are not of sufficient
quality to post.)
