[va-bird] Buchanan Co. Birding

VA Birders,
Yesterday my wife Lynda and I birded the Head of Slate Creek and Compton
Mountain. 10 species of warblers were found,but the Swainson's was missing.
However, it is still a bit early. The highlights were
Yellow Warblers 2
Blue-winged Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Hooded Warbler 9
Northern Parula 3
Black-and-white Warbler 4
Black-throated Green 3
Worm Eating Warbler 1
Louisiana Waterthrush 2
Ovenbird 13
Blue-headed Vireo 2
Red-eyed Vireo 11
Scarlet Tanager 3
Indigo Bunting 2
Gray Catbird 1
Wood Thrush 2
Broad-winged Hawk 1
Red-tailed Hawk 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Roger Mayhorn
