The BOBOLINKS continue on Ebenezer Church Rd (rt. 779) in western Loudoun Co
near Bluemont, VA. They have been seen everyday for the last week. This
morning there were four males on the wires over & on the paddock fences around
the large paddocks that are on Legacy Farm. While not as easy to find I also
see an occasional female. Both pastures have been bush-hogged but the
BOBOLINKS remain possibly because the cutting was pretty rough and left a lot
of cover for them.
There are also several singing GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS in the same area and at
least one WILLOW FLYCATCHER across the road in the willows along the stream.
