I was walking down our road this evening, just before 5 o'clock, and heard
again the song of the Bobolink which I have been hearing regularly since May
8th. This time I saw the male Bobolink chasing after a female. It was probably
more like following than chasing, and after soaring flights, each time she
landed he would perch on a tall grass stem and sing for a while.
