Observed a single male Bobolink doing its flight display this evening. It was
on the southeast side of Ebenezer Church Rd, rt. 779, near Bluemont in the area
where they have nested (& tried to nest) the last few years. It was using a
paddock fence to perch before it launched its flight over a field the owner
usually not mow until breeding season is over. There were also several
Meadowlarks performing flight displays.
