56 species were tallied at the Northern Virginia Bird Club walk
at the Blue Ridge Environmental Center in Loudoun County on 6/04.
Highlights were CERULEAN WARBLER, BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, KENTUCKY WARBLER
heard only, WORM-EATING WARBLER also heard only, LOUISIANA
WATERTHRUSH, YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT and GRASSHOPPER SPARROW. We
heard several Ceruleans, but it wasn't until the very end of the
walk that a singing male sat out in the open giving all 16 of us a
fantastic view. We walked the Farmstead trail. Complete list follows (H is
