The highlights of my walk around Manassas Battlefield yesterday morning
include:
* Common Loon (2 flyover)
* Wild Turkey (1 heard gobbling)
* Great-crested Flycatcher
* Red-breasted Nuthatch (7)
* House Wren (3)
* Ruby-crowned Kinglet (10)
* Blue-headed Vireo (2)
* Pine, Prairie, Palm, C. Yellowthroat, Ovenbird and 1 mostly white
Yellow-rumped Warbler among a hundred
* Purple Finch (14)
* Blue Grosbeak (male right by the parking area on Rt. 234)
* Vesper Sparrow (2 sitting on the fence together)
